Throughout my works I use traditional fabric manipulation techniques associated with domestic sewing to create contemporary, highly textured pieces, drawing the viewer into their synthesized surfaces. This manipulation encompasses both geometric and organic forms as a reflection of the forms existing in the world around us.
My work is influenced by my response to the ‘here and now’ and the accompanying appreciation of the abundance of natural beauty and form existing in my surroundings.
