Artist Statement
I am a fibre and mixed media artist based in the inner west of Sydney. I work using a variety of materials and techniques. My greatest passion is stitch – an integral component of my art works.
I am inspired to create work by my life experiences, world events, environmental issues and the colours, textures, patterns and lines I see around me in the natural and built landscape.
I endeavour to use recycled materials and found objects in my work and enjoy the challenge of purchasing as little as possible to create my pieces
