Artist Statement

I find detailed images taken with microphotography inspiring as it allows me to see the beauty of nature beyond what can be seen with the naked eye. From a grain of sand to a seed, I find the patterns and textures stimulating and these are often the starting point for my next creation.

By combining traditional millinery techniques with non-traditional materials, I create sculptural forms that are technically challenging yet visually interesting.
